Mission

Youth Helping Youth (YHY) is a student-led, non-profit organization that promotes opportunities for youth across Canada, Seattle, and SF. Through social media, word of mouth, connections with local community centres, partnerships with organizations, and our own events, we connect students with opportunities to enhance leadership skills, discover passions, apply for jobs/volunteer positions, gain real-life experience, find mentorship and network with like-minded people! Youth Helping Youth wants to inspire the next generation of leaders and changemakers. The ultimate goal is to become a platform where youth feel empowered to take initiative in their own lives.

Youth Helping Youth supports youth by providing youth globally with opportunities they need to succeed in today’s world YHY aims to spread opportunities and change the discrepancy of opportunities available in underprivileged communities in contrast to more developed and privileged areas. Various marketing techniques, connections, and resources allow us to support passionate like-minded organizations and accomplish our mission.
